OPPO Reno 2 Series Launched in India

OPPO has launched their Reno 2 series with Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F on 28th August 2019 in India.

Special features of the newly announced Reno 2 Series are “Quad-Cameras” at the rear with “Pop-Up Camera” at the front and "Hidden Fingerprint Unlock 3.0

OPPO Reno 2 comes with Quad Camera sensors along with additional features mentioned below:

Main Camera: 48MP with an aperture of F1.7 and OIS support (Sony IMX586)
Second Camera: 8MP with an aperture of F2.2 (Wide-Angle Lens)
Third Camera: 13MP with an aperture of F2.4 (Telephoto Lens with Auto Focus)

Reno 2Z and Reno 2F both gets a Pop-up rising 16MP sensor with an aperture of F2.0, along with front video bokeh effect.

Performance and Chipset:


OPPO Reno 2 is powered by Snapdragon 730G (8nm based) which is an Octa-core processor.

It is clocked at a speed of 2 x 2.2GHz Kyro 470 Gold and 6 x 1.8GHz Kyro 470 Silver chipset, combined with a GPU of Adreno 618.

Reno 2Z is powered by MediaTek Helio P90 (12nm based) which is an Octa-core processor.

It is clocked at a speed of 2 x 2.2GHz Cortex-A75 and 6 x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 chipset, combined with a GPU of PowerVR GM9446.

Reno 2F is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 (12nm based) which is an Octa-core processor.

It is clocked at a speed of 4 x 2.1GHz Cortex-A73 and 4 x 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 chipset, combined with a GPU of Mali-G72 MP3.

Operating System:


Out of the box, all three Reno 2 Series smartphone gets OPPO’s ColourOS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) with In-Display Hidden Fingerprint Unlock 3.0.

Display:


Reno 2 gets a notch-less 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 93.1% of screen to body ratio.

Reno 2Z and Reno 2F too gets a notch-less 6.53-inch AMOLED display with 91.6% of screen to body ratio.

Battery:


All three Reno 2 Series smartphone gets 4000 mAh battery with Type-C port that supports VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.


Variants & Availability:


OPPO has launched one variant of each Reno 2 Series smartphone in India as of now.

Reno 2 comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage capacity; its pre-booking will start from 10th September 2019 and it will go on sale from 20th September 2019
