Realme has
announced their latest Realme 5 series in budget segment with Realme 5 and
Realme 5 Pro on 20th August 2019 in India.
Special features of the newly announced Realme 5 are - “Quad Rear-Camera” with “Splash Resistance Design” and a humongous "5000 mAh battery”

is powered by Snapdragon 665 AIE (11nm
based) which is an Octa-core processor.
The
processor is clocked at a speed of 4 x 2.0GHz Kyro 260 Gold and 4 x 1.8GHz Kyro
260 Silver chipset, combined with a GPU of Adreno 610.
Realme
claims that this processor is 20% faster compared to previous generation processor,
due to the addition of latest Vulkan 1.1 graphics processor.
Operating System:
Out of
the box, Realme 5 would come with its own ColourOS realme edition, which is based on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The system would support data sharing limit via
portable hotspot, fingerprint scanner to quickly enter the privacy space, and
more interesting Google's ARCore for augmented-reality (AR) apps on the Android
OS.
Display:
Realme 5
gets an IPS LCD 6.5-inch mini-drop display with a resolution of 1600 x 720
pixels, that has 269 ppi with 89% of screen to body ratio.
For protection, it gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ with an aspect ratio of 19:9 with 720p+ resolution and 1200:1 contrast ratio.
Additionally,
Realme 5 also gets Night mode for eye care.

This phone would be available in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple colours. Also, all the three variants gets a dedicated Micro-SD card slot (supports up-to 256GB) along with 3.5mm headphone jack.
In a Nutshell:
