Who am I?

I am an amateur blogger with no prior experience of blogging; however, in recent years I have developed a love for exploring new technologies.

It all started in the year 2006…

When I used to work in a US-based BPO and I was in chat and sales support for the top two telecommunication giants of the US.

This was the first time I was exposed to the technology of fiber optic internet and broadband services about which I had never heard before.

At my home, I had experienced only dial-up Internet services back then, however, in the US, we used to provide sales and support for the Internet, with speeds of up to 50 Mbps.

I have never thought that the Internet could be that fast. In fact, in the year 2020, I finally got 50 Mbps Internet at my home. I know many of you guys might be having 100 Mbps or more at your home.

Along with the high-speed internet, I got to know about 3G technology and mobile phones. During that time, we just had 2G technology and Edge Internet for our mobile phones in India.

As sales and support person, we had to educate ourselves about these technologies, which were easily available in the US at that time. In doing so, I developed a love for exploring these new technologies.

I always wanted to be ahead of everyone in terms of exploring and gaining knowledge about new technology in my group.

I always spent all my money on buying the most advanced mobile phones (used to change my mobile every 6 months or before that) to PCs (that I could afford, thanks to all my huge sales incentives).

In these many years, a lot of time, I had wasted my money on buying the wrong products.

Sometimes I even bought gadgets that were beyond my budget and had to regret my decision later, as they did not fit my needs.

Why did I start blogging? And why did I created TekkiCookie?

With the passing of years, technology has started to grow and change (upgrade) very quickly. I have learned one thing, that we should not waste our hard-earned money just like that.

If any gadget is useful for your friend, it might not be useful for you.

So, STOP! Think. Understand - Before you shell out your hard-earned money.

You should be aware of your exact needs, and you should also explore the product you plan to buy.

Always ask these questions to yourself before buying.

  • Would you be making full utilization of the gadget (its features) for which you are planning to shell out huge money?
  • Or, a product with fewer features would be enough for your needs and you can save some bucks?

Since 2014, I always used to ask these questions to myself before planning to buy any product.

And, to select the best product suitable for my needs, I started to explore more and more about technology, the features of all the electronics and gadgets.

Seeing me buy smart gadgets with features that would be useful for me and still saving my hard-earned money.

My friends, my office colleagues, and even my family members started to ask for my suggestions before buying any electronics or gadgets.

This went on for well over 4 years (still going on) day in and day out.

Even friends of my friends started to call or text me for my suggestions, whom I might have just said - Hi! in the office or might have met them only once or twice.

I realized that there could be more people like you around me, whom I might not know or have never met.

But, you too need answers for your unanswered questions, so that you can make the right decision while buying electronics and gadgets.

That could be useful for you and you should not waste your money on buying the wrong and expensive products.

Finally, on 09/09/2018 - I created TekkiCookie, where I share everything that I have learned and still learning about technologies and services.

Along with some buying tips for mobiles, computers, smartwatches, and gadgets via my blogs.

Believing it could be useful for you all; also, it might save your hard-earned money as well.
